This is a long set up (and the image will make sense later).
1. So we have table topics at our Toastmasters meetings, in which anyone could contribute on a given topic. Last time around, the question was “how has the economy affected your holiday spirit?”

I’m home for the final time this year before heading back to the Bay for 2009. It’s scary to think that we’re already closing in on the last year of 00s. It’s been a growing year. At 24, I realize that I have more capabilities at hand and more potential than I ever did as [...]

Everyone in the Social Media world is going on and on about building relationships and spending money on a good PR agency, vs. millions on advertising. It’s not worth it, they say. The top down approach no longer works. they say.
Well, I call bullshit.
Advertising is valuable… when done right.
Sure, when I’m watching TV or videos [...]

Maybe it’s the fresh smell of pine in our SF office lobby or the gigantic Christmas ornaments next to the pyramids down the street, I’m just feeling all in the ‘holiday’ spirit today.
No… no… I [...]

I woke up this morning not being able to tell if the almighty “fate” is trying to say something to me or if my body’s just frustrated by a lack of settling someone down.
Let me explain. The alarm sounded at 7, which it always does because I like waking up @ several intervals before I [...]
