I do quite a bit of online shopping. The fact is, against my better judgment, I probably spend anywhere from $1,000-5,000 on clothes every year. To some that may seem like 10 decent outfits; to others enough money to dress the entire family.
Point is, I have a lot of experience. Amazon, eBay, Nordstroms, Hautelook.com, gilt.com, Macy’s, ThisNext, Neiman’s, Saks, <insert random store name here> or <insert random international store here>. I’ve pretty much done it all.
.
But this post isn’t to brag. It’s to warn you to please please never shop at classiccloseouts.com.
.
I did.
And now, at the beginning of every month, I get this nice $69.99 charge on my credit card from them, even though I haven’t even visited their site in… 3 years.
Sorry, it was transactional. I’m not going to become a big buyer. Your selections suck. Your quality sucks. The only reason I purchased anything was because the underwear was $.99.
Obviously, if I had known that you would be falsely charging my credit card and I’d be forced to change my credit card number, I wouldn’t have minded springing the extra $2 for from VS underwear.
To Classic Closeout:
Please stop falsely charging me. (Yes, I know it’s you and not someone stealing my credit card number because there have been other reports of your dirty behavior online. … yeah, the internets. It’s not just a place for you to steal money, sweetie.)
To consumers:
There are so many amazing sites to recommend. Seriously LOVE Nordstrom‘s July Anniversary Sale and ThisNext for great product suggestions.
But please, unless you want the hassle of getting false charges on your credit card, skip Classic Closeouts. If you see anyone who works there, please tell me them to kiss my lollipop.
Thanks!

Have you changed your credit card number yet? Also, you should see if your credit card lets you create virtual credit card numbers. I never make any online purchases with my real credit card number anymore.
I’m going to have to at this point. Poop.
I guess I’m a bit too trusting on online companies that look legitimate. I wonder if all credit card companies offer that virtual number.
