The onslaught continues

[Warning: This entry is gross.  No seriously.  Gross.]

.

First my left finger gets horribly infected.

Definition of horribly:  When pus flows from an infected region of the body, and as it heals, somebody slams it into the banister that she’s helping [redacted] paint.  Therefore, that region gets infected again.  At this point, the nail has fallen off.  Twice.

And now the same thing’s happening to my left toe.  Okay, not exactly the same thing.  It’s worse.  Because I have to use my left big toe for balance, so I’m constantly squeezing the pus out, even when I don’t want to.  It’s starting to get hard for me to walk, and I can barely wear anything except my ugliest pair of exercising shoes.

… Okay, I don’t really have any ugly shoes, but this is my Aesics’ go to the gym and sweat it off shoes.  Fashion was not involved in this decision making.

I don’t know what I do.  I guess I’ll have to eat the antibiotics that the doctor prescribed me.  I was going to use it the next time I got sick, but I like my toe.  Especially when it’s attached to my body.  [No joke.  My dad said that depending on the type of infection, it could spread.  Really?  I hadn't noticed.  And if I don't treat it and the bacteria gets into my bones... pppptttttthhhhh to that body part.]

At least I’m not doing anything this weekend.  Absolutely nothing.  I’ve been such a hermit lately.
