I saw this on TheCreativeBlog and the advertising component completely blew me away. More companies should take such daring risks to make an impact and break through the clutter. Images don’t have to be loaded or political to make an impact. Visit the blog for more examples of excellent design and on the point strategic messaging.
What also grabbed my attention is that Nathaniel Butler filled a niche that I didn’t realize needed representation. His entries, like this one on Junot Diaz, give a bit of personal history, facts and a great rippable image. For those of us, who enjoy linking about random interesting tid bits, this is also a great resource. And to the countless book designers who get none of the credit that a stylist would for an actress or musician, Nat gives them mad props as well. I wonder if he’s on any other networks.

BTW I love love love this book. It’s so nothing you’d expect and yet very contemporary and ethnic.
