Thenny has a new bedmate :o)

… cuz Ty bought her a dronkey… that’s right, it’s the fire breathing donkey dragon babies from Shrek the Third.  It’s pinky/purpley, has the body of a baby donkey, and the wings and fire burping powers of the dragon mommy.  As you can see, it’s absolutely adorable.  I love it, and I get to cuddle with it every night (yeeeeeeee).

I finally has a weekend where I didn’t do a thing, which is good and bad.  Good because I desperately needed a weekend, where I wasn’t under any stress and could just vegetate.  Bad because well, I got nothing done.  This week will be a series of scrambling to get my life together.

The good news is that I found a ubber cute way to wear my white dress with yarn embrodery.  (I honestly think that I so need a vacation and change of scenery that my writing has morphed into the literary prowess of a 4 year old.)

Lots to talk about, so here are some bullets:

  • Facebook: I’ve had such a hard time deciding how much I hate having industry people on Facebook.  I definitely feel like online is all out in the open now, and managing several personalities or even perspectives of self is entirely too hard.  Luckily, I had the foresight to change all of my online profiles to portray the same Thenny a few months ago.  I guess Facebook is great with its new applications, usability, and ability to act as both a LinkedIn device as well as a MySpace spammer.  I just hate that something that I felt like was truly a college experience for me has evolved with me and constantly reminds me of being an adult and paying bills and blah blah blah… Why can’t I just stay a kid forever?

Arg… boss decided it would be great for me to show up to work today instead of working at home… blah, I was offering almost as lip service.  More later.
